Marius and Nelson met as successful individuals in the film industry, each in their own right. In 2007, they joined together for an opportunity to co-direct two music videos for Sony BMG. This collaboration proved rewarding for them both and they continue to direct projects with a signature high-value, slick aesthetic.
Marius is a Santa Monica native who turned his focus to film-making when he realized an 11-inch vertical leap would not propel him into the NBA. After earning a Masters from the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television, Marius spent some years honing his craft as an associate producer on feature films and directing shorts. His work has been featured in several festivals including Slamdance and Screamfest LA.
Originally from Virginia, Nelson moved west to earn a Masters in Film Production from USC. He is now an award winning cinematographer who shoots feature films, television and commercial projects. Nelson has been honored by the ASC for his work as DP on the hit TV series "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and he has shot several feature films including "Boogeyman 2" for Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures, "The Canyon" for Pierce/WIlliams Entertainment and the indie cult classic horror flick "Splinter" released through Magnolia Films.
Hailing from arch-rival cross-town film schools, Marius and Nelson have made a treaty not to discuss collegiate sports, academics, or distinguished alumni while on set. Off set, anything goes...
